STOP PRESS! Buckingham Colour Press Merge with Colour Quest
As part of Buckingham Colour Press' (BCQ) strategy for growth and greater stability within our tough and fast moving industry, BCQ is to merge with an equally ambitious and dynamic printing company, Colour Quest, to create one of the most diverse B2 litho and digital printing businesses in the country. This exciting merger will see both companies come together at our state-of-the-art facility in Buckingham and will take the best of both companies' technologies and processes to create a 'best of breed' organisation.
The merged company, which will be called Buckingham Colour Quest or 'BCQ Print', will boast a much extended plant list, including 4 five and six colour B2 presses, a range of smaller B3 presses printing up to 5 colours, and one of the most diverse digital printing departments in the country, whose plant will include two Xerox iGen3s, one HP Indigo 5000, one HP Indigo 1000, various pieces of wide-format equipment and Océ high-speed mono digital presses.
The merger will provide a huge range of benefits to all our customers including an increased range of available printed products (from brochures, display stands, direct mail and POS, to manuals, forms, corporate stationery and marketing literature), 24 hour production 6 days a week, improved turnaround times, greater efficiency and an improved range of complementary services including mailing and database solutions.
The disruption to our customers will be minimal during the merger of the two companies, as it is business as usual, and therefore we would not expect you to experience any difference in the service we provide to you, other than our name and corporate identity changes.
The merger process is ongoing and is set for completion during February 2007, when all production equipment and personnel should have been relocated to our site.
This merger is an incredibly exciting time and will catapult the company forward to enable us to provide an unparalleled range of products and services to our customers, at even more competitive rates, whilst at the same time making us a far stronger and fitter organisation.
